Sadly, the cathedral is currently closed for repairs during work days, so I only got to see the outside. Looks nice. Hope to visit when the repairs are complete.

We attended Sunday Mass here during a few days visit to the city. It is a beautiful place with an impressive beamed ceiling and wonderful acoustics. The choir at the 11.30 service gave the Solemn Mass an extra dimension; glorious singing and a lovely setting...More

The cathedral can be found a short walk from the railway station. The Roman Catholic cathedral is small but has some interesting modern stained glass and interesting icons. There is also a lovely little coffee shop on site where snacks can be purchased.

This was a bit of a surprise. The streets around the cathedral were very ordinary but thee cathedral itself was far from ordinary. Furthermore, there was a wonderful cafeteria for the weary traveler.

This is a cathedral full of light, with a very hich roof and a good open aspect. Not over-decorated, but a place of quiet for prayer and contemplation
