Nowhere on the City Sightseeing website did it give the exact start address or the timetable. The hop-on hop-off bus runs 7 days a week from Bewick street near Central Station. Open-top double-decker buses run from 1030 every half hour, with the last circuit starting...More

Driver was welcoming and suggested best place to get off and on to see the (new) "Millennium Bridge" at opening time. We enjoyed the tour and decided to do part of the tour again later, as the tickets were "all day". Unfortunately, the map that...More

At the time of writing this review the service only operated at weekends starting at 10.30 am. It was a good way to explore the city and in particular, Quayside which has the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, The Tyne, High Level, Swing bridges and...More

A decent enough trip around the city, but not great value for money. Yes, it is less expensive than City Sightseeing in a lot of other cities, however this is a fairly limited service, operating one route only, and only running every 30 minutes during...More

Not expensive at £6 for a Senior Citizen I will concede, but compared to a number of other Hop on Hop off buses in other cities in the U.K and in other countries this was pretty average. Bus had seen better days, commentary was audible...More

Firstly, a quick couple of bits of info: tickets are £8 per adult, there are 17 stops on the tour and the full duration is 1 hour. I agree with other comments about the difficulty of finding the stops as to where to get on...More

If you only have a few hours to see the city this is an excellent way to do it. Informative and engaging commentary, friendly driver. Does not run as frequently as in some cities and it was difficult to find where to board, but otherwise...More

We paid, cash only, on the bus. £6 per pensioner. It was a good day, mostly sunny and warm. The commentary, when it could be heard, was informative and fun. Shame headphones are not issued, as it was in English only. However for a total...More

Where to start... I regularly take these tours when travelling and they're normally fantastic. This one needs a lot of attention from the franchise as it's damaging their brand. - very limited availability, running for only a few hours a day with a 30 min...More
