NEVIS RANGE Mountain Experience is in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland, 7 miles north of Fort William. The mountain gondola will transport you to 650m on Aonach Mor where you'll find the Snowgoose restaurant & bar with awesome views, mountain trails, kids play area, and the Mountain discovery Centre (summer only). In the winter, we're open for sledging, skiing and boarding. There's biking for all in Leanachan forest, plus bike wash, bike hire and a skills park. The NEVIS downhill track (with gondola uplift) hosts the Mountian Bike World Cup each year and there's the new red Route opening in summer 2009. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Not cheap but worth it for the views, ticket lasts all day for people doing the mountain bike runs.there are two good paths for walkers with amazing views over the Nevis range.

We paid £39 for 2 tickets. No one told us that as the weather was socked in at the top, we would not be able to see a thing. To add insult to injury there was a power cut so we could not even buy...More

Brilliant walk and fortunate to have a warm, clear day. A must if you’re fit enough but remember to wear walking boots and take lots of water!

After paying £3 to park our car we discovered the cost of getting the cable car to the Snowgoose restaurant was £19.50 each. The girl selling us the ticket said it was a multi trip ticket. Not much use when you only want a return...More

We were hiking the east highland way and stopped here to rest our feet The gondola ride was worth the price. Lunch at the top was at best mediocre but the views were great.

This is a spectacular must do experience ride the cable car you can see for miles once on top of the mountain and the snow goose restaurant is ideal for refreshment after you have had a walk.

Beautiful views, a fun ride up the mountain, and a nice hike across the top. Not a simple walk either, because there are serious ups and downs. It was great fun to watch the mountain bikers on the trail heading down the mountain - we'd...More

It was recommended that I visit this location and take the cable cars to the summit. The weather was ideal and the fresh air on the mountain was refreshing. The views from up there are breath taking. I highly recommend it.

Don't think you will have an issue in Augusr, just rocking up on the day. Would check the weather forecast, Scotland can be awesome but it can also be a little grim even in the summer.

Check the Nevis Range website for the weather report. The gondolas and skiing are weather dependent.
