The Parrot is in a great location; it's a lovely building oozing charm and character. But if only the management would realise they need to apply a bit of passion, this pub and restaurant could revert to what it used to be - a destination...More

Great atmosphere a little slow at the bar. However food was great, will return. We all had different from the menu, everyone was happy with the food. Will recommend.

Been 3 times over 3 months, today was the final straw. Absolute garbage from staff to food to beer. 2 rashers of streaky bacon in a blt. Rubbish becks and a wait of 20 mins in between beers

There is a pleasant restaurant area but we ate in the bar, same menu, a good variety of dishes and very drinkable house wines. We had the chicken and the monkfish, both of which were excellent.
