Lovely area to walk and explore. Beautiful views. You need to be able to walk uphill so may not be suitable for someone unsteady on their feet.

You have to park at the bottom and walk up to feel like you’ve really earned the view you find at the lookout point, surveying the land over Dorking. On a clear day the view is just stunning.

There is a fee for the car park - £1.50 hour. £3.00 - 2hours Don't know what time cafe opens - sandwiches good, and lovely chocolate cake,

Free car park I think it is open about 7am not sure go to their website.
