As a local I have visited and bought their Wholemeal flour for over 12 months, and home bake with it on a daily basis. What is frustrating about their packaging is the way they glue and seal their bags. When opening, the glue is so...More

This is a beautiful old wooden mill on a bank of the beautiful river Deben at Woodbridge. This is so often photographed as the essence of Woodbridge and stands alongside a matching old wooden granary which has been converted into residences. Maybe difficult to find...More

Fascinating insight into the history and workings of a tide-mill. The building has been lovingly restored and there are interactive displays and excellent information boards as well as a small shop selling keepsakes of the visit.

Great place to visit. Very interesting and the tour guides were very informative. We didn’t get to see it work but this depends on the time of day and the tide.

I had visited the Tide Mill in the early days of its restoration but had never seen it turning, and this time I did (thanks to its informative website). It came alive, and I was fascinated.

Very interesting place to visit, excellent explanations by volunteer guides. Worth going to watch a flour-milling session to see the mechanics in action, timing governed by tides.
