The ale house has friendly and knowledgable staff. Good selection of beers and ciders. Travel by foot or bus as little car parking in the area. Does not serve food but takeaways can be eaten inside

Just love this place. Staff are great and it's a break from the same old chain pubs. Great atmosphere and the bar man just hope over to the piano and bangs out a time from time to time. Good selection of visiting ales and coders.

Drove past here lot's of time and always fancied a pint and Saturday was finally the day. Caught the train up to Stoke, met friends what could be better? How could this day possibly get any better? A cider and a cheese board that's how....More
