Bouncers and staff were outrageously rude and abusive. My 18 year old friend was dragged out for no reason; she’s the most polite and innocent person - clearly taking advantage of a naïve young girl. The staff then refused to help when a drunk 45...More

Absolutely filthy place where you stick to the floor with over zealous bouncers ( not that they will know what that means). Even though it is local I will be going to gigs in Wolverhampton or Nottingham from now on.

Arrived at The Sugarmill early from Manchester so went to look to get a coffee. Every shop in the centre was shut. Everyone. At 6:30pm. Except KFC. So we went into Walkabout and had a coke. That's another story. The Sugarmill is incredibly small. Not...More

I have been to many a gig at the Sugarmill, all of them excellent - partly because I've only seen bands I really love, but also because it's such an intimate venue, you get a great atmosphere. Can't speak about the club nights, but in...More
