Lovely Arena, however the concert hall was too tightly packed with seats, and some elderly and disabled people found it difficult. the bar area was clean and the staff friendly however £18.60 for two large wines I thought was extortionate.

We went to see Ken Dodd at this theatre. As people know Ken is known to have a long show. He started at 7:10pm and finished at 12:30am. Thank goodness the seats were very comfortable. I don't think there is a bad seat in the place. The bar is nice and also serves lovely coffees, quite expensive though. We are... More

Went to see The Bowie Experience. Good show and a lovely auditorium but as other reviewers have commented the bar prices are a scandal. We paid less in a Wetherspoons just round the corner before the show for exactly the same drinks PLUS a couple of cheap and cheerful meals. On the up side the people at the ticket collections... Went to see the BBC Philharmonic, which was fantastic. It's a lovely theatre / concert hall. However, we made the mistake of buying a drink before the performance from the bar. I knew the drinks would be pricey but had received an email from the Victoria Hall saying that up to an hour before the performance the drinks would be... More

It's that time of year again when Jools Holland performs in Stoke, the highlight of the year when it comes to concerts .This year it was back to the Victoria Hall having been at the Regent for the last two years.Fantastic evening, great atmosphere and superb value for money. The acoustics are impressive and not a bad seat in the house,... The seats in the upper circle were said to have 'limited view'. This was a most definite - a view of the end of Jools Holand's piano. Still at least you could see some of the band and the large screen showed the piano work. It was a bit like watching a large T>, which I could have done at... More

We have now been to two classical concerts at the Victoria Hall, part of the Stoke-on-Trent Classics series and both excellent. You do not have to pay the exorbitant booking fees charged by the Victoria Hall operator, ATG. Book via Music Mania instead. Also, I was shocked when charged £6 for a bottle of English beer. OTT? The bar is... More

Victoria Hall is located next to Hanley Bus Station. There is plenty of car parking around the venue, but I would recommend Hinde Street Car Park over John Street for a faster getaway after the show. Plenty of choice at the bar, including Brewdog Beer in bottles. But I found nearly £8 for a beer and small ginger ale with... More

We have visited this venue on a. Number of occasions recently along with its sister premises the Regent Theatre. Last night we went to see Level 42, which as on my bucket list, arriving at the venue having been to a local bar we went into the theatre area, which is spectacular and has good overall acoustics and great staff... Great venue, wonderful acoustics. Gets an interesting variety of touring artists / shows but also great for local events. Only gripe is expensive bar and sometimes slow service but the actual auditorium is great, of a certain style!
