The staff at the bar were inexperienced and extremely slow. The price of the drinks was extortionate. A dash of lime was 50p and a glass of their cola £3.00. The food was very amateurish and served in the kitchen. Just burgers and a hot dog, no real variety. Amateur league catering in a premier building. It could have been... More

At the town hall , the building a magnificent concrete ( as most buildings in England and Scotland which is north of Staffordshire you will enjoy a bus ride but the train from Stoke- on-Trent takes you to Scotland. It's faster. The town hall all the parliamentary offices located there. Only by appointment in advance. Enjoy the sight.

Huge wooden sprung dance floor, used in Northern Soul movies to depict a bygone era, but all sorts of other concerts and promotions take place. A sense of history very evident although a fairly recent re-furbishment was very welcome !

Normally, it is accessed only for business purposes during the day but available for meetings and events in the evening - although there are daytime events occasionally. I attended... More
