I did this tour last week the day before I went To Middleport Pottery . Both tours very worthwhile .The tube lining was very interesting and the workers as well as the guide were very good and informative

Turned up having booked a hotel locally and was meeting a friend in the afternoon. walked down to the pottery and I was aware in advance that tours were Monday- Friday (this was a Saturday). There is a room with the history of the pottery...More

The pottery here is magnificent but very expensive. Unfortunately, no tour was available today so we just perused the museum pieces and the gallery. There was lots of information to read and the kiln to see.More

From pottery history and manufacturing techniques to modern art for purchase, a very interesting and enjoyable afternoon out... especially if the weather is not cooperating with other local sightseeing.
