Stafford castle is amazing ! It is a really good place to go. The tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. The good part about it is that you can see the actual Keep. Inside the Keep there are little passageways with arrow slits....More

This castle, or what is left of it is nothing more than a drain on resources. There are far better examples around and local council taxpayers have far better things to have their money spent on.

This is a small castle in ruins. There are information plaques during the walk up to and at the castle. There are toilets and a gift shop that sells a few souvenirs and ice cream.

A free place to visit which should entertain for around 30-45 minutes. The castle is in a ruin condition although there is some interesting history and a decent visitor centre.

This Castle was built high up with excellent views in all directions. Just so you could see any enemy approaching! Built in 1100 AD, it played a part in the civil war during the 17th century. Destroyed in a number of occasions and unfortunately now...More
