This may sound strange, but one thing that stood out for me, was the generosity of this church... there were offerings to the visitors all over the place. Simple little notes on paper, each different, that people could choose and commit to such as "I will smile at someone I don't know today" or "I will make time to pray... More

Just a time to visit the church and spend a quiet time away from everything in the crazy world outside. A time of peace, prayer and reflection. Though my time was limited the short time of peacefulness gave me spiritual peace and strength.

Had a wonderful trip to the church and meet one of the church wardens who was able to tell us a lot of the local folklore and really brought the place alive.

We rounded off our visit to Glastonbury with a quick walk around this church. There was a Christmas tree festival on at the time and it was lovely seeing all the beautifully decorated trees. The church had a welcoming atmosphere and I noticed that there was an area where you can purchase tea and cake.

We have visited this lovely church twice now. The first time back in September 2013 when we had great tea and cake here. The second time was recently when we saw a Christmas tree festival here. All the trees were simply gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed our second visit just as much as our first. We'll definately visit again next... More

Wish we could have gone into the church, but unfortunately it was locked because of vandalism and theft. We did go into the entry and there are glass locked doors into the church itself. We were able to look into the church and see the stained glass window and the simple beauty of the building. I would have liked to... More

I visited this church because of the name, it is dedicated to St Mary. I had been looking for St Margaret's chapel, but found it closed, so ventured inside the church. I spent some quiet time just sitting in the church and was surprised to find that fro me it was such a great place for contemplation as I often... More
