I really enjoyed the climb to the top and the view while up there is amazing. The paths are wide enough if you need a stop along the way.

We quite enjoyed the hike out of town, up the hill, mapless, to the actual attraction of Glastonbury.

No one told me that there was two ways up The Tor! I think I chose the steepest one with steps and sloping pathways. Great view when you get to the top though, you can see for miles. I can imagine it can get very...More

You have to pick your day and I would definitely take binoculars but if you time it right, the view from the top are breathtaking and you can see for tens of miles in all directions.

Really pleasant walk with a rewarding view, can get quite windy so dress for the occasion. Walk doesn't take long but some nice things do in and around the area.

A lovely walk from Glastonbury to the Tor. We walked from town but I think there is some parking nearer. The walk was lovely through green fields and some sheep roaming free. The walk isn't steep but older or less fit people might find it...More

Visited the Tor on a cold clear winters day. Had breakfast in the Town first before heading up to the Tor and what a very strange place this town is. It's full of wonderful polite characters. We headed up to the Tor and visited both...More

This has to be one of my favourite places when visiting Glastonbury! That stunning view of the Tor becomes visible as you drive the windy roads to the ancient town..I feel like I’m coming home when I see it in the distance! I have climbed...More

A steep climb, but spectacular views from the top. The path is all surfaced (mostly concrete) although steep in places and with several flights of steps. I climbed on a Thursday morning in November and it was busy then, I'd imagine it could get very...More

We parked in a factory car park opposite the well gardens. Had to go in their shop and pay a few quid for a permit.

Hi, sorry I've not gotten back to you before (I very rarely log into trip advisor). I believe that it is the Heart chakra of the world; in any case -it is one of the most peaceful places I've ever visited.

From the high street to the bottom of the hill is probably 15 to 20min depending on how briskly you walk. Up the Tor itself, I would say another 15 to 20min
