Do not go out of your way to visit. It is at the top of the high street. Basic low stone open building with wooden sides and a roof.

Dunster is a lovely little town and of course the Yarn market is an interesting landmark. Shame there wasn't much info about it.

Well maintained covered but open market place. Not a good photo opportunity because of parked cars and passing traffic. Worth a visit if you are in the area but not interesting enough to make a special visit.

Interesting feature at the end of Dunster's High Street, the Yarn Market holds an important historical significance for the village. The village itself is well worth a wander round, with the Yarn Market one of its key features.

Does what it says on the tin. It’s a cover for the old yarn market. Lovely bit of history, fabulous condition considering it’s age. Nice to see but not a must see with young kiddies. Lovely shops nearby though.

The medieval yarn market has a prominent position at the end of the high street. It is well worth a visit and cannot be missed if you are in the village.

A really great place to visit, but come early, especially on a dry summers day. It was full to bursting when we were there, so well done National Trust.

We stayed in Dunster for three days for my son’s wedding (at Dunster tithe barn). Dunster is a pretty little village complete with its own castle on the hill over looking the High Street. At on end of the High Street is the Yarn Market,...More

This is a free entry English Heritage site. It has an interesting history built in the 17th century. It is timber-framed octagonal market hall is a monument to Dunster's once-flourishing cloth trade (according to the signage by EH). Well worth dropping by for a brief...More
