Gough's cave was great. Really enjoyable. Audioguide gave a lot of info! I must admit I stopped listening towards the end. A brilliant cave. Staff were fantastic too. Cox's cave although an interesting cave I wasn't a huge fan of the interactive element. However I...More

Visited on way back to airport. Had a walk around but were disappointed we had to buy ticket for all the attractions when we only wanted to do the walk. We didn't have time to do all. I think the tickets were valid for 10...More

Pretty little place and good walks in, and around, the gorge. Quite expensive, we thought. Nice cafes abound with good coffee and cakes - and pasties, too - some award winners.

We did the gorge circular walk, at around 3 to 4 miles in length. My two boys ( 9 and 12) managed it without issue. Be aware that the steps at the start are steep and there are nearly 300 of them. You definitely need...More

Great value for money. The caves are very interesting and the audio guide is very well put together. Cox's cave has a fantastic interactive journey detailing the struggles of early man. All staff were friendly and helpful. If you need a break from exploring there...More

I absolutely love this place! I always visited as a child (maybe biased) but even if you don't go into the caves, the whole vibe of cheddar is amazing in itself. The caves are indeed amazing, little expensive! But great and worth a visit at...More

Everyone has answered your question. We are here now, it's very quiet. I would suggest you park immediately opposite the entrance, in Costa. Let your other half out, then you park up. Just a thought.
