Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, the multi-sensory Wellness Suite and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.

I booked this package a couple of months in advance for my boyfriends birthday. I decided to go for this package as it was one of two you could book in advance and I had read on trip advisor that the queues where very long...More

This spa is a very good one. Like most spas, it's expensive, but I guess these places have to be in order to survive. You of course have to pay extra for food and actual spa treatments. When I went, I had a full body...More

We decided to spend our silver wedding anniversary in Bath and we chose a lovely day for it. The icing on the cake was our two-hour visit to the Thermae Baths, which are truly excellent. The hot water pools below and on the roof are...More

This place was very overcrowded. You couldn't even get into the steam rooms or saunas, as too many people in them and waiting to go in. Managed to get into both pools, just! I would describe it more like a cattle market, than a relaxing...More

We booked online for a twilight session to avoid the long queue for those who just turned up, and which included a meal with a glass of wine part way through. The food is fairly basic, but was tasty enough, and for the time allowed...More

We had high expectations from the website, however our trip was nothing like a luxurious spa. Crowded, noisy and not relaxing, the pool facilities felt more like a local council leisure center and not a spa. Little places to sit and relax. Would not recommend...More

Found the new facilities a bit of a letdown to be honest. The old steamrooms used to be lovely whereas the new ones- one is way too steamy to the point you literally can't see and one isn't steamy enough! Had to queue for 10...More

We attended the spa after pre booking the Sunday Taster package and were thoroughly impressed. The package allowed us to skip the long queue at the entrance as it does get very busy though the day. All facilities were superb and well maintained, staff were...More

The spa is both popular with locals and tourists so it depends on the day - the queue is 30 mins long on a Monday evening it can go up to an hour. The spa has a limit, so it lets people in when people leave at full capacity... More

We went on a Sunday lunchtime and did not have to queue. There are more special offers in the week from local hotels so that may be why or we were just lucky!

Quite frankly you would be hard pushed to find a member of staff to tip? Although the therapists were good. YOu have access to your locker if you want to tip.
