Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, an innovative series of steam rooms and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.

We had a lovely time here. We didn't get to use the whole place because of major works but were give a free voucher to return when it's finished. The pools are very relaxing and restaurant/cafe lovely. Lots of staff about, all very friendly. Expensive treatments but you get to keep your flip flops!!

Three of us visited in early March and felt the experience was totally overpriced at £35 for a two hour visit with just two baths open. Appreciate renovation are taking place, and that we had vouchers for another visit free and that the building costs were enormous still does not justify the price. Try visiting any small town in Germany for... More

Visited with some friends to celebrate a ‘special’ birthday. Work commitments meant we had to visit on a Saturday and we were not able to book. However we arrived shortly after the spa opened and we went straight in without queuing. The steam rooms were not open so we were given a free voucher for a return weekday visit –... More

Visited the spa a good few times now and always enjoy it although it is always very busy! We arrive early before it opens but there is always a queue. Love the open top swimming pool and the steam rooms. Always pop in for a coffee and cake as well. Could do with more time in there as time always... More

Very disappointed, we had the twilight deal, first of all the steam rooms were being refurbished and not available, the only compensation for this was a voucher to return, not good when you you live over two hours away. When we bought the tickets we were told that whilst in the restaurant the spar time would be frozen. When we... More

Not much more to say that the title really. I was staying at the Gainsborough across the street but they only let you use their (amazing) spa facilities in the early morning and late evening so I decided to go to the public baths instead. Fortunately the hotel also owns them and so the concierge took me over and I... More

Firstly it was a pity that the steam rooms weren't open, so we spent 2 hours using both pools and came out like a prune! We were given vouchers to come back before end of November to gain free entry, I may add. A half hour queue to get, recommend going early as around 1.30pm, when we left, the queue... More

After visiting the Roman bath I was hoping that the water would be the same healing quality. But it had a faint chlorine smell, which makes me think that it's probably chemically treated water. It was very relaxing and I had a good time. Got a massage, but then my masseuse put on a sales show about the products she... More

Great visit to the spa, steam rooms under refurbishment so not available at the moment. We were given a voucher to redeem later in the year because of this which is great service. Get their early due to long queues.
