This architecture is what one conjures up when you think of 'Bath'. I'm lucky enough to have a friend with a flat on this street - it's fascinating to sit in the window and look out over the beautiful buildings. What a privilege to be there.

From Pulteney Bridge to the Holburne, this street stretches a gair distance. The buildings frequently carry brass plaques indicatiing an association with the great and the good. This time I found one for Wm Wilberforce.

Easily accessed by bus or walking but don't think of driving a car - nightmare of parked cars on corners and hills

I've always loved Great Pulteney Street. This beautiful wide Georgian thoroughfare joins the city centre to the Holburne Museum and Sydney Gardens. Walking along past the rows of elegant townhouses you really get sense of this grand street's history. It's perfect for a stroll on a sunny spring day.

The widest street in bath with a beautiful Jane Austen vibe. It's a nice street to walk down in the Spring or Summer, it's a little chilly in the winter.
