Great Pulteney Street was a great street to walk down on your way to Sydney Gardens. There is so much history packed into this street not the least of which is site about Jane Austen.

Parking close to Holburne Museum we strolled down Great Pulteney street and over the Pulteney bridge. The pavements are wider on this street than the road where we live! Some of the house are now divided into luxury flats renting out at almost £1000 per...More

This lovely street, with very broad sidewalks leads directly into the town center. Perfect location for our hotel in that it was away from the crowds but only a 5 minute walk to the center of Bath.

If you have time, walk down to Jane's favorite park and see where she lived. Her characters lived here too!

A wide and long street in the centre of Bath, containing a number of historical and eye-catching buildings. Some great architecture, I can imagine it not having changed a bit for centuries.

Huge, wide sidewalks allowed the fashionable late 1700's women to walk side by side on this Georgian street to the Sydney Gardens.

It’s an historic street with some nice different and independent shops. It’s not very long doesn’t take long to walk down it unless you go in every shop.

Love it here, our hotel was along this road and it was so enjoyable reading up on what a famous street we were staying on. So much history behind it and such beautiful houses/ hotels/ flats along this street.

Beautiful row of houses, a number of which have been converted into hotels and apartments. Prompts one to remember the historical grandeur of this city

Unchanged in many years , you can imagine it in a period drama with characters dressed in outfits from the era travelling up and down this grand street in horse drawn carriages making house calls. Some hotels are well blended into their surroundings.
