This boat trip goes a couple of miles out of Bath and we were given a very interesting commentary by the organiser. A lovely way to see some of the city and very reasonably priced.

We actually went on pultneny princess, couple of nice men, new there history, tour talk on return, reasonable prices. We got of at bathampton for lunch then returned same way as arrival. Well worth the boat trip

We spotted the Pulteney Princess about to leave for a cruise so hopped on. It was a grey day with rain threatening but the Princess has open sections at the front and rear with sliding covers so we sat outside at the front. The 30...More

We caught the boat at Bathamptom Mill, you can park in the pubs carpark and get on the boat on a little jetty, on a fine day it's a great way to get into bath, no need to park, it takes you to Pulteney Bridge,...More

We took this hour-long cruise to Bathhampton one afternoon on the placid River Avon. Saw our first kingfisher along the river. The commentary from the captain/guide was interesting in terms of the history of the local area.

We have been on other boat trips that have been more interesting, however the highlight for me was seeing a kingfisher flying passed. We sat on the top deck near the rear of the boat and struggled to hear the brief commentary that was given....More
