This is a beautiful part of the city. You can follow the river right down from the city centre to the train station. The views are lovely and the it is a great place to walk and take it the sights.

The best view of Avon is in Bath, the city centre. It is simply beautiful and worth the stop. Never miss the place

This is a beautiful river - and of course has many a tale to tell because if it's history - walking along the banks is a lovely thing to do with or without someone by your side. So so very pretty.

especially the stretch from the centre to Green Park. Tranquil and peaceful and lovely in the shade when the sun is shining. Pleasant to look at the narrow boats moored alongside.

Nice river cruise - kids squeal with joy at seeing the swans. Very different from other cruises or rides.

There is a trail that goes along the river that is beautiful for long runs. Swans, cool weather, and easy access make this a must do for any athlete on holiday.

The Pulteney Weir is a horseshoe-shaped weir just downstream of the Pulteney Bridge. It is a work of art and a sight to see.

the boat ride is well worth doing - even at peak time all seem to be accommodated well. A beautiful river and must do when in Bath.
