It would be criminal not to see this Abbey, it was clearly built for the greater glory of God. The architecture is inspired and the execution of the building is second to none. If you miss this site in Bath then you miss one of its best sites!

Very helpful volunteers. Staff flexible and open to people with all beliefs and cultures. Worth visiting during evening prayers (even if you are not a believer).

Worth a look inside for the impressive vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows. Only £2.50 for entry. I visited on a Sunday which meant that it wasn't open to the public until mass had finished at 1pm.

Situated next to the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey is great to visit once you have taken in the baths in the morning, and after a spot of lunch (you'll need to have a break to re-charge, ready to climb the tower. More on that later). The abbey is a beautiful building from the outside. Bath really takes care of it's... More

Was a pleasant place to visit during our trip to Bath. The weather was good so it was pretty busy. It's a beautiful building.

It is a beautiful building and example of ancient architecture. It is situated next to the Roman Baths and faces a square that is full of shops and places to eat. It is a vibrant area with street musicians and lots of locals and visitors enjoying the square.
