Brilliant place to head to for some old school beers. This pub has its own celebrity Cat, who lets itself in takes its place on the bar. Beautiful beer and snack collection and great colour friendly locals.

A pleasant,friendly pub, lots of space and character, large outside beer garden,with plenty of picnic tables, dog friendly,good choice of tasty beverages, a very old dove house in the garden adds too the ambience, well worth a visit

You should be sure to make a trip outside into the garden and see a magnificent old building. It has been used as a set in films. Russel, the boss, will tell you all about it. The beers are very well kept and always good....More

Great old fashioned pub and one of the few proper good uns that still remain. Decent selection of ales and a cracking beer garden out the back too. Friendly staff and just does what it should! A proper pub!
