Such a friendly place, nothing was too much trouble. We were given information on all types of walks we could do, then given a map and a cheerful "Goodbye, enjoy" After our walk we were so relieved to see the Centre. Delicious tea and cakes, good prices, but cash only... so be prepared, lots of local crafts for sale, from... More

It's well worth dropping in to this visitor centre if you are visiting the old mine because they have loads of information about the area and some lovely craft, cards and books to browse or buy. They also double up as a friendly and good value coffee shop with the most delicious cakes. Friendly volunteer staff.

Friendly visitor centre, run by volunteers in the middle of nowhere! There are interesting crafts to look at and locally made articles to buy. Also interesting articles to read about the local area.

Visited the Centre en route to a walk along the Stiperstones. Gives a history of the mining communities, a cafe and sales of information and handy crafts. Run by volunteers.

Interesting little visitor centre run by friendly volunteers. Delicious homemade cakes and drinks - perfect to finish off a walk on the Stiperstones. Lovely local crafts on sale too. Only down side is that they only accept cash so go prepared.

If you like proper cake and nice coffee in a nice environment, give this a try. It is set in a beautiful Shropshire location that we are so lucky we can reach fairly easily. Cycle here quite often and the ladies are as beautiful as the cakes. Thank you and see you very soon. The cycling fraternity.
