Well presented historic hall owned by National Trust. The room guides were particularly helpful and provided good information. Outside the parkland is very pleasant and the walled garden is both attractive and interesting.

Some stunning ceilings and pictures in the House, there are large grounds to walk around, however doesn't offer the best gardens compared to a lot of National Trust locations.

So much to see and do. A fabulous house with well-informed and friendly guides. We went on a Wednesday when the guides dress in costume which was a bonus. Extensive grounds with river walks and a deer park and a large walled garden.

Not the prettiest of houses, but with an interesting history, and excellent room guides.....make the most of them. A huge walled garden full of veg and cut flower borders. Well cared for. It doesn't have a wow factor but worth visiting .
