This proved to be a delight with plenty of interest around every corner. We arrived at 10am and had the place to ourselves for most of the morning. Caves, tunnels, precipices, ravines, a tall column and other attractive buildings, redwood trees, carvings and more all served to enhance the attraction. Quite steep climbing with lots of steps but well maintained... More

The park opens at 10:00 am and there is an admission charge. Well made paths lead you round a hill which is rich in things to see such as caves, monuments and geological features. You need to allow up to 3 hours to get round and you are often given a choice between the "easy" walk or the "hard" walk.... More

This is a really fun place to explore, it has so many fascinating features and it feels like a proper adventure as you find the different sites. The 'flat white' coffee in the cafeteria was a disappointment. The site closes at 5pm, it is worth noting that the person who locks the gates does not check the carpark for late... More

Luckily it was a lovely day, both 16 year old and 7 year old enjoyed the whole walk as did our dog. Unfortunately I didn't take a packed lunch/water, Only place to get water is at the very top of the hill (where they only accept cash) or at the beginning/end. We also got a Groupon for this so it... Would highly recommend a visit to Hawkstone Park Follies if you get the chance. It has beautiful walks, scenery, monuments and caves to explore. Really great place to visit as a family for the day. It cost us £22 for two adults and one child, which isn't the cheapest but if you are going to go for the whole day... More

Visited this beautiful place, with great views. Expect a number of walks from 2 hrs to 4 hrs, none of which are for the less able bodied or small children. Pushchairs and wheelchairs are just not practical there are many many steps some of which are quite large. This whole attraction has great views and the Rhodedendron forest when in... More

My partner and I visited The Follies on a slightly wet afternoon with the dog and loved in! Could have spent all day here exploring! One of the most interesting parts of the follies is the array of different plants that have been introduced: and mostly labelled which was very helpful! So many little paths and walkways to go down:... More

This is a great walk of medium difficulty. Not for the infirm or very elderly. It's very scenic great fun for children. A tower to climb, caves, lot of scramberling around. The whole walk takes 2-3 hours. We usually take a picnic there are plenty of picnic tables scattered about. If you use a Groupon voucher check the details carefully we... More
