This is a great place for youngsters. Lots of interactive stuff to do and play with. If you are an adult interested in engines or machinery there is nothing there for you.

We visited here as part of a trip to all the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. Whilst we appreciate this is designed for children and we are adults, it would be good if the exhibits worked! About 50% of the 'experiments' failed to work properly. Those that did work looked tired and badly maintained. There is no cafe on site, just a... More

Visited years ago before we had our children and enjoyed it. So we came back with the kids. They loved it. Lots of things for them to play with while learning too. Not a massive place but we spent around 2.5 hours here. There were animal encounters on too when we visited. They were good and we saw animals not... More

We spent a few hours enjoying the exhibits. The experience was added to with the special animal handling section. Would return if this was nearer to home.

Having spent the morning at Blists Hill we took the grandchildren to Enginuity for the afternoon. There was so much for them to do I'm not sure they covered everything but having purchased an annual pass we can take them back whenever we want. The activities are educational as well as fun and practical. The little animal demonstration was informative... More

This should be more advertised as being for young children, as me and my boyfriend felt a little silly walking round here. Lots of screaming young people (to be expected in school holidays) but also a lot of the exhibits were broken/not working correctly. Very hot in there also - good if it's raining and you want to entertain kiddies.

My husband was looking forward to visiting here and as we had bought the annual passport decided to go. Was disappointed as really geared for children not adults. Some hands on exhibits not working and glad we didn't pay especially to visit. Would not go back. But great to keep the kids happy.

Our son aged 11 thought this was great, although I imagine it would appeal for those under 10 years old more. With loads of practical experiments and puzzles to get stuck into whilst educating yourselves Enginuity was a great afternoon's entertainment.

I visited this with a school party of 10 -11 year olds. They loved the exciting activities, the helpful staff and the shop at the end! They really enjoyed the involvement they could have with the exhibits and had an exciting time.

Our children (4 and 7 years old had a very nice time here. It is indoors and climate controlled so it would be very good on a poor weather day. The facilities were generally clean and the space is big, giving them a good chance to run around after driving to other museums throughout the day. I would have liked... More
