I have the privilege of living just round the corner from the HH and it's quite comfortably the best pub in Sheffield. The fact it doesn't serve food (only pork pies, crisps etc) makes it an even better atmosphere, with students and locals mixing well...More

I went here with my son to play snooker. The table seems well looked after, but my tip is to take your own cue. I had a soft drink as I was drinking but my son says the beer is great. I am not sure...More

A long held favourite pub of mine in Sheffield- thornbridge does beautiful, hoppy, American style ales in very cosy surroundings. Highly recommend for a lovely pint.

My favourite pub along with the closed shop. Sadly I'm moving away soon but will always be back. Great selection of thornbridge beers plus others. I like my wheat beers and they have a great selection.

Visited here with a group of friends. Found the ale to be excellent, atmosphere spot on for a nice local pub. Little beer garden was very welcome on a nice evening. Staff friendly and knew their beers. Top marks, looking forward to visiting again!

Nice place good ale but a bit pricey! Staff always friendly and good smoking area. Would also recommend the Closed Shop across the street both pubs very decent.

The Hallamshire House is a great little pub with a warm atmosphere, great staff and a great selection of craft beers. The pub is owned by Thornbridge Brewery which is a local brewery from the village of Bakewell in Derbyshire. There is always a vast...More

Love this pub! Real friendly everytime and one of the best beer gardens in the city! They should really build a cellar bar in the downstairs outdoors area!
