We saw the production "standing at the sky's edge" at the crucible. A great nights entertainment at a fantastic venue. Had refreshments at the theatre cafe prior to the performance at very reasonable prices. Car parking just across the road at the NCP CAR park....More

I'm a snooker fan so this is a magical place for me, but I'd never been inside! I finally at the opportunity to for a (great!) Sheffield Soup event. I thought the building was impressive, the bar (though not cheap) served nice drinks and the...More

Realistic prices for a regional production Rutherford and Son.Good play well done with minimal scenery.Friendly, helpful staff.Very short of seating in bar/waiting area upstairs-surely a few more seats would encourage sales? Best seats are those through the Red Door.Avoid the Multi-storey next door to the theatre,very...More

Just seen Rutherford and Son. The theatre itself is fabulous; the seating is really comfortable and views of the stage brilliant. Pricing was very good and the Sheffield made ice cream at the interval was a real bonus.

Crucible is famous for snooker and we've been too the finals a number of years. However better than that the theatre when build was a totally different idea. It's an auditorium in the round. The stage is circular and the seating surrounds the stage ....More

Seen many productions at the Crucible. With the stage being in the round, you feel you are part of the performance. I find it to be my favourite theatre venue. Also usually easy to get drinks beforehand and order for the interval.

Seen several performances here, with great views from all areas of the theatre. Plenty of pubs and cafes nearby, and in the theatre. Avoid parking in the NCP car park on Arundel Gate - expensive and very busy immediately after the show.

Thank you for your review. We are able to offer a discount in an alternative nearby car park which would reduce the cost of parking greatly during any future visits to Sheffield Theatres, further details regarding this discount can be viewed at www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk/your-visit/getting-here
