I did a lot of my studying and quite a bit of writing in the gardens. There are spaces with people milling about but also secluded spots where you can sit for an hour without seeing more than one or two people (and some squirrels).

yes they serve drinks and snacks. Food is lovely and I can highly recommend the hot chocolate
