Rivelin river was a source of power for several industries over the years. Now it provides a lovely picturesque walk especially in the summer months. A great place to bring kids lots to do and see as well as places to eat.

I walked along the Rivelin Valley in October. Would like to go again in the summer. Lovely walk, and I used the coffee shop at the start and on my finish several hours later.

Great walk along a wild corridor with a lovely stream & industrial archeology, consisting of ruined wheel houses, mill ponds and races. So close to the city but great asset.

Yes, and if you children like playing in the water, then they can play in the river and stepping stones. Just keep an eye on them because they could fall in
