Something nice to look at on our walks up to Rivlin Valley, part of local history. It's not claiming to be much and is free. I use it to explain the industrial past to my 4yo. It might not be working but unlike so many others which were in the surrounding area it is still there to act as a... More

This is a inoperative former water wheel attached to a mill that has been converted into housing. You might glance it over the side of a bridge even take a photo and put some filters on it to make it look less dilapidated but that's about it.

I am not surprised to be the first reviewer of this place, because for me, it was a waste of time. History notwithstanding, this is a rusting water wheel, inoperative, surrounded by junk, muck and general rubbish. A sad sight, not worth stopping for. Sorry.
