I should have travelled through here twice this month but the first time coming from Waterloo I was kicked off the train at Ascot due to a broken down train at Wokingham. After a 2 hour wait I was put in a minibus and driven...More

We got the train to Exeter from here. Our train was on time so no worries there. Station itself was clean and was a connection for us, as we got the train from Staines to Reading. It was clear to us what platform to go...More

All roads lead to Rome - or in this case, Reading train station. Sneaky little tunnel underneath gets you to the north-eastern bus interchange (useful for the bus to the Thames Valley Park business estate), and buses/taxis readily available next to the station near the...More

A huge station, with easy access to lifts, stairs, toilets, escalators and cafe facilities. Trains halting at this station are great western railways, cross country, south eastern, Elizabeth line. Reading is well connected to major places including London, south east and Gatwick. Just outside the...More

As a first time visitor I was impressed by the size and architecture and the fact that my train went on time. I would liked to have seen a more obvious departure board and an obvious map of the town at the exit. I saw...More

Always chaotic and staff are dismissive and look bored. Hard to catch hold of people to talk to to get updates when platforms change. Reasonable selection of shops, but most of them do fleece you, Smiths is the worst for overpricing goods.
