This is a beautiful church. We married here in August 1997 and had our photo's taken in Forbury Gardens. The church has a high balcony with a large pipe organ and if you have a choir or a soloist they go up into the balcony and the music fills the entire church, which in itself is very beautiful.

Yes, it is one of Pugin's earliest works, being consecrated in 1840. Do go inside to see this beautifully kept church which I think has a lovely peaceful atmosphere. ... and the only one in Norman style! It's a beautiful church, recently refurbish and the home of a large, vibrant international faith community.

I went back to have another look at this church on the edge of Forbury Gardens when I found out it had been designed by the famous Victorian architect, A.W. Pugin.
