We live close to Blenheim Palace and have a yearly pass. We love the palace and grounds itself so thought we would visit the Christmas light show .... the initial cost was £16 pp plus park and ride at £5. Once there there is a variety of food and drink stalls which will cost what you would expect. We were... More

1) The Christmas light trail is very pretty. Too long a walk ( 1-1.5 hours) for small children and not really something they could appreciate. Lots of wailing children on Sunday evening when I went. Some stunning displays, the waterfall for example, others slightly pagan. 2) £25 for entrance to the building is ridiculous. Get it for £8 ish with... More

We had an incredible experience at Blenheim Palace. The palace is absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to catch the Michelangelo Pistoletto exhibition being held throughout the palace. The modern art was incorporated into the historical setting of the palace which was a joy to explore. It was freezing when we visited in October but it didn't bother us... More

Had a brilliant evening exploring the Lights Trial. Took 1 hour and 40 minutes and enjoyed every minute of it. As we walked it was amazing with the way the trees were lit and it looked so magical, didn't know what we were going to see next. The paths were well lit and plenty of staff were scattered about, everyone... More

The night time light show is fantastic for adults. 1'000's of lights and many different displays as you walk about a mile, taking one and a half hours, through a wooded sloping area and along by the water cascade. Be warned, its obviously outside, in the dark and at night, so it might be cold and could be wet if... More

Our daughter treated us to go on the Christmas trail last night. I can honestly say it really was a totally magical experience. The colours, lights, lanterns, decorations the whole scenario was just beautiful. It is a long walk but very well worth while and I recommend everybody and anybody to go and enjoy this wonderful place. This festive trail... More

If you get the chance go and see the wonderful display of colour and light at Blenheim Palace on the illuminated trail through the festive gardens. We went on a Wednesday evening and had a really good time. Be warned it gets very crowded at the weekends so mid week is best. plenty of hot chocolate and marshmallows along with... More

We had a lovely day arrived early and enjoyed the displays in the house. Some interesting quirky art installations, then enjoyed tea and cake in the tea room which was lovely and when it went dark we went on the Christmas Lights walk, it was absolutely exquisite, amazing lights and sounds the whole garden was lit up beautifully telling a...
