We are long time KA patrons but haven’t been for a while. So 2 friends and I decided to go for dinner and a sweet ale. We had a cheeky scotch egg first which was wonderful. Then started on the pies we’d ordered. They were...More

Called in for a quick pint as the Natural History Museum cafe was packed with no available seats. Good refreshing pints in a nice warm atmosphere. Didn't eat here but the food looked nice enough. My partner did have a 'legendary scotch egg' which he...More

In the past, I have found the King's Head be hard to beat for location, decor or atmosphere. But on my last visit for a midweek lunch I found the food a serious disappointment: under-cooked vegetables and a steak pie - billed as a speciality...More

This place has some awesome character and an even better drinks selection. Was a little disappointed with the food though. Great place to stop off and have a few pints.

Absolutely - plenty of space & the staff make a real fuss of them. Dog water bowls & treats available from behind the bar when you order your drinks. Haven't come across a more dog friendly pub.
