Amazing building and a really nice place for kids. It is a Natural History Museum with dinosaurs bones, stuffed animals, minerals, rocks, etc. There is a restaurant inside the museum in the first floor.

Free entry so definitely worth a visit, lots to see and very interesting and educational! All of the pillars are different rock types with information about them labelled. Outside there are casts of dinosaur footprints in the grass. If you go up onto the second floor there is a model of the earth at one side of the building the... More

I thought this museum was great, and its FREE, would go again and again, would also be happy to pay to go in too, did make a donation, as felt it warranted it. Amazing displays, just pay a visit well worth it,

Visited February half term and was very busy with of children. Selection of dinosaurs and animal skeletons to mesmerise the little ones but plenty to absorb the older ones too. There is a coffee shop but when we visited there was insufficient seating so we never got to try this out.

Very nice free museum, good for kids with at least 3 live insect displays. My son spent ages looking at the live cockroaches and the taranulta. The Pitt Rivers museum is also within this museum which is also fun.

Went on a Sunday afternoon during the February school holidays. The place was packed. There was lots of children's activities taking place. The museum is a smaller version of the London museum. There are lots of exhibits of dinosaurs. Overall, I think it is a nice place to visit if you are in Oxford. Allocate 2 to 4 hours for... More

Some fabulous history on show with lots of interesting facts and information. Not that big but enough to be really interesting. Some of the architecture in the building was awe inspiring.

We took our two young grandsons. Entranced from the moment they entered. We have visited many times but always find something new and unexpected surprises. A real must for any visit to Oxford.

Such a nice change to take the kids out for the day & not get mugged at the ticket office! Often it costs £30, £40, £50 to get into some ridiculously overpriced places of "family entertainment". The Natural History Museum is FREE. Kids loved it, my little one took her toy dinosaur (complete with a T shirt on as it... More
