The self-guided tour allows access to the dining hall, Old Tom's Court, the Cathedral and the Art Gallery. A very pleasant experience in tranquil surroundings.

If in Oxford and have a little spare time would be nice to have a walk around. I was there at 6am and only a few runners and rowers. There is a nice track that goes around the outside of the Meadow and along the...More

Massive ancient buildings, well preserved and full of history. The most expensive college to visit but with a magnificent immense hall and beautiful church. Can get very busy during visiting hours.

This a must see place of interest, absolutely stunning. It's worth the entrance fee and more and was the highlight of my Oxford trip

Christ Church has an amazingly storied history which doesn't need repeating in detail beyond pointing out its strong literary links including between Lewis Carroll/Charles Dodgson, the stories Alice in Wonderland and Alice through the Looking Glass and the 'real Alice' and more recently Harry Potter....More

I always wanted to walk inside a college like you see on TV and it really looks the same. We also joined a service at the Christ Church Cathedral and it was amazing.

As far as I know, only members of the college can eat in the hall. It is not open to visitors for meals; only for touring when it is not being used for member meals.

No, unless you want to have dinner in the great hall which is possible sometimes, rather than just walk around in it.
