I'm a regular of about 7 years. It's changed managers, which has influenced food and beer, but has generally always been pretty good. Not any more. New management really has resulted in a decline of exciting beers and, more importantly, poor service. One bar girl...More

Love everything about this pub. It is a cosy place with a great atmosphere. The most amazing selection of well kept real ales. Great staff and great live music too. The real best bit is the food. A simple menu of burgers, hot dogs etc...More

Great pub with a good range of well kept beers which change regularly. I also like the board which tells you how far away the beers are brewed. Burgers are really good as well served with chips and coleslaw. Staff are also friendly, thoroughly recommend

Lively place with loads of choice of real ales on sale. Good atmosphere with live bands most Saturday nights. Good choice of burgers on the menu and a nice beer garden to sit out in. Definitely worth a visit.

This pub took some finding by car, due to the unfathomable street plan, diversions, one way streets and intrusive tram network which all criss-cross this traditional old residential area. Once found though, and inside, it was terrific. Good range of beers - I had Draught...More

Never been here before but decided to give it a try with some friends. The food was good, fresh and hot and the band that was on was good. The place is obviously popular and later in the evening it was busy. Would go again.
