Ice hockey match

An evening of ice hockey at the Arena. A great place to spend a few hours watching a game or an evening show. Simple snacks on offer plus hot and cold drinks to keep you going.

This venue is one of the smaller venues I have visited which means that even if you're sat on the upper tier you'll still get a good view. Staff were really nice and friendly and access in and out was very easy with little disruption.

We had great seats and looking round I would think most people did, except those that chose to go at floor level where you can stand. I would have thought small children would have difficulty seeing over the adults. One down side the facilities. Don't leave it until the interval to use the toilets especially if female. The queue was... More

We have seen Cirque du Soleil twice at the Motorpoint Arena. The shows were absolutely fantastic however the venue itself is scruffy and totally devoid of any atmoshphere. The seats are very uncomfortable and cramped together, no leg room and no shoulder room. Good visibility due to very steeply raked seating however the drawback to that is steep steps and... More

This was response we got after visiting Motorpoint for ICC Great British Championships, our teams all ages from 4-17, travelling from far and wide, arriving early spending over 10-11 hours here, could not bring in snacks or food, at venue a portion of French fries £3.50, chicken strips and fries £10.50, drink soft drink £1.75, when our girls finished dance... Daughters cheer team performed here on Saturday, not a bad place but as with most arenas, very hiked prices, £4.80 for a pint, £3.50 for a coffee that was very substandard, if your going to charge that price, use premium beans. Not allows to take own food,

A brilliant venue to watch concerts. Much more reasonably priced tickets than in London and much better seating and views. Lots of toilets and disabled ones too. Some stairs to manage for access. The food and drink are very expensive and only 'rubbish' food available. Either eat before or after.

Good venue... Qulity acts - reasonable prices - easily accessable - Plenty of loos etc One downside - no quality food outlet, even yhe cafe/bar - very few allegry food choices BUT with so many excellent food outlets in Nottingham it is easy to plan around it

Visited for Olly Murs concert. Great venue, love it. Had a great time but paid £16 for a G&T, 2 chips and a bottle of water. The food was just horrible. We later had nachos with "cheese" sauce which was truly disgusting. Stay away from the food its overpriced and just horrible. Venue is great. WiFi was unusable.
