A must when visiting Nottingham, great place to see history at its best. We visited with my cousin from Australia and were made to feel very welcome.

Great old pub cut into the cliff of Nottingham Castle. Good selection off local real ales. Well worth a visit.

Claims to be the oldest. Is certainly oldie worldly. Only on street parking. Not suitable for wheelchairs, but seating outside on nice days. Order at the bar.

Beautiful oldest Inn. Impressive old areas within this small pub. A must see close to the bronze statue of Robin Hood.

The place has lots of character, staff are friendly, and the food is decent. Worth a visit. There is paid parking nearby or you can walk from Castle Marina Retail Park (3hrs free parking).

I can I just add to anyone interested that this isn't the pub that's goth! I got them mixed up. However saying that, this pub was totally unique and well worth a visit especially for its historic background. We didn't eat... More
