I attended my sister’s wedding here and everything about the day was excellent. The room used for the wedding ceremony was stunning and while we had drinks in the lovely walled courtyard after the ceremony, it was transformed for a sit down meal, which was...More

We have visited many historic houses but this is a home. It is lived in, cherished and cared for. It is a "free flow" visit and you can linger in areas of personal interest and spend time studying the many works of art. Very close...More

Went here for the snowdrops having visited the gardens some years ago. The gardens have lots of snowdrops, hellebores etc but it is woodland walk which is the best. Here in the two acre woods are gentle paths where you can see the many varieties...More

Water obstacle course was great although staff were a little too strict on the rules but rules are there for a reason I suppose. Car park layout and signage is crap but it's great when you get in there.
