We attend dance and music events here regularly. Its intimate atmosphere is wonderful, and from all seats you feel so close to the performers. All performers praise the helpfulness of the staff who help and look after them. The result is vibrant performances, in particular of the modern dance and traditional music events we attend.

A quick comment on a talk about the history of Nottingham between 400 and 1400 "From Snotengaham to Notti" in a small group of 12 or so, we were able to handle artifacts and listen to fascinating aspects of my local town. The museum and art galleries are well laid out and exhibits change periodically. The Art Centre has a... More

I connected with a few of the paintings and was particularly interested in how Pasmore combined art and architecture. Weather Extremes: Making and Breaking Records in Nottinghamshire. Went with my young children. Considering this is a place set in the middle of a park and childrens playground it is surprising this place is not child friendly. The child seats were dirty. The tables and chairs were dirty. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. The rather used and old box containing torn and stained children books is a... More

We really love the small theatre here, and the great range of family productions they put on throughout the year. We have been a number of times, and have booked for the Christmas production as well. It's by a tram stop and has a large grassy area and a great play area too, as well as the lake. For us... More

It was lovely to return yet again, to see all the amazing Crafts, created by Students, Ex-students and professionals such as Stuart Akroyd. The setting is wonderful, the Cafe area has been totally transformed and is so much better. Access by tram is now so easy making it great place to visit at any time!

Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva's installation and exhibition was surprisingly moving. The cathedral naive of cauls leading to the knots and head of Haruspex has to be seen from within, since no photograph nor description can do it justice in terms of the scope and space that it needs. I cannot say that I found beauty, but certainly there is intelligence at work... More

Dear Sir or Madam Earlier this week I'd booked tickets for your outdoor showing of the film 'Jungle Book.' I'd booked the tickets on line. We regularly take our dog (a Minature Pincher - smaller than the average cat) to Highfields so we decided to take her with us and walk her around the lake before the film started. When... More

Management response:

I'm sorry to read this report on Trip Advisor, since I was in contact with you and responded the same evening that you sent me your complaint via email which is again detailed here. Such a delight to be offered a tailor made salad in the Art gallery cafe this afternoon on this unexpectedly very hot day! I know it was quiet and James had the time to freshly prepare the food, but it was exactly what I wanted and nothing was too much trouble......service with a smile from somebody who seemed to be...
