Service with a smile but takes a little time when busy so possible not the place for a quick cuppa if you are rushing. Many, many teas and home mad cakes etc. Extra seating downstairs.

Just visited. Chap behind counter was pleasant and greeted us. Not a mass selection on offer but the cake was great. Tea wasnt very warm either and the music left you feeling a bit depressed. Also forgot one our only food order

Had lunch with my daughter - cheesy crumpets with marmite - fab. Lovely tea and good shakes. She joined a small crowd hunkered in for some revision / work over their laptops and the chilled staff have a great attitude to this.
