This castle is being renovated, but the outside is still very interesting. There is a statue of Robin Hood ( good for taking pictures,) There is also an informative mural and information board. When we were there Friar Tuck was making his rounds. Fun!

Nottingham castle is closed until 2020 for refurbishing and so is the town. That's 2 hours of my life I wont get back

If your interested in history then I suggest this is the place to go.there is caves underground and dungeons not to be dismissed its great for children both young and old and its great to know how we used to live back in those times

Visited with my family and young children. Full of fascinating history of Castles past. Could be made more interesting by being more interactive to keep children more interested. Seen everything within 2 hours.

Went to visit castle during short trip to Nottingham but sadly it was closed for renovations. Not due to open until 2020. I have been asked to put a rating of this building and the least I could I put was terrible as my comments...More

Very enjoyable and interesting. It has many interesting artefacts that reflect the history of Nottingham. A healthy learning experience.

This used to be free entry but now you have to pay. Has a gallery it was quite magnificent pictures and a military museum in the castle surrounded by Lush Gardens and you can get a great view of Nottingham from there as well

hi sorry only seeing question now. yes it only takes an hour for the tour so you would have plenty of time.
