Weather makes a huge difference for a trip to the area, and on this occasion the sun shone and moors looked stunning! Such wonderful views. I traveled through by car, but there were intrepid cyclists on the route too. Such a treat.

Spent a week in Hallington. Absolutely amazing, and will definitely be back. Most beautiful countryside. Interesting how few people there were. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful part of North of England from the rugged coastline to wild and wonderful countryside to explore. It has a lot of castles, Hadrian's wall, Kielder Water as well welcoming tea rooms and pubs. Well worth a visit.
