THE COUNTRY park is a lovely open space for walking or bike rides, there is also the benefit of the ironstone railway to amuse both young & old. Do visit the Drivers Cafe for tea and a slice of cake as well!

discovered by error ..but a very pleasant walk ..cafe not open but would be nice in the good weather...parking ok..no need to pay as with a lot of places...

Had a lunchtime meal there. Lots of options for meals or snacks for adults / kids. Drinks and ice creams on offer. All very reasonably priced. Very friendly owners. Would definitely return.

My daughter and i went for a wonder at easter and discovered the play area while on our little walk, it had lots there and the cafe is a lovely little place too with very friendly staff.

We enjoyed a lovely couple of hours here. There is a good size play area spread out with a big open area to play football etc. There are a few benches and plenty of areas with shade from the sun - perfect for our picnic....More

Sorry only just seen. It's absolutely free. Great parking. The "drovers return" is small but welcoming. Chef / owner has great sense humour.
