Having grown up in Northampton I have always loved visiting the grounds of the abbey but for a long time the house has been out of bounds and bordered up. Now with the renovations it is lovely! It's great to learn about local history but...More
We saw a news report on the BBC about Delapre and it looked very warm welcoming and quaint.we decided to visit to get into the Christmas spirit. However we were very disappointed with the staff and information . Felt rushed.
Grounds and gardens great though.
