We were invited to a tour and lunch here, it was such a suprise to see this lovely home and 'Lampy' the original gnome. The gardens are lovely and its good to have a guide here to tell you about the history of these gardens.

A small country house with some interesting history. Guided tours only. Now run by Trust but previously in Isham family, whose last Baronet, Gyles, acted with Garbo in Anna Karenina. Some good theatrical memorabilia on show.

My friend and I spent a very enjoyable hour perusing the art and craft stalls in the stable block at Lamport Hall. Beautiful handmade goods, generally priced accordingly. Also enjoyed visiting the small working horse museum in the old tack room (FOC)
