Always a varied selection of ales on offer when I've visited. Always a warm welcome from the manager and staff. Regular music related events, worth checking out.

Several of us dropped by this proper real ale pub on Saturday. Barman was helpful and welcoming with great subject knowledge. Great range of ales including Vegan beer. Not a vegan myself but impressed with the options.

Cold unatmospheric room with terrible paint job. Toilets were a disgrace, laughable that they feel it's acceptable for paying customers to use facilities like that. Shelf at back of bar with about six spirits on. Keep walking if you're passing.
