“Unimportant” as he advised his name was, is a great guide! Really nails comedy as well as historical stories. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone with a sense of humour, an open mind and that is ready to get involved!! Brilliant!

We weren’t sure what to expect so went on this tour with an open mind. The guide was both informative and funny and our kids loved the little jump D ages. I would recommend to families without hesitation.

We had a great time on this walk. Although not scary, the guide does a great job involving guests and being entertaining. About 5 small stories involved in the short walk around York. Took about 1 hour or so. Lots of fun and laughs to...More

Although I thought and hoped this tour eoukd be scary, eerie and gruesome, it was none of the above....HOWEVER I loved pur guide! An absolute actor, who really fot into character! He had great jokes, funny interactions with the audience and really made it atmospheric.

I assumed that by paying a bit more for this tour (£6 versus the £4-5 others were charging which were also longer) I would be getting more bang for my buck...not the case. The tour kicked off at around 745 after the preamble and payments...More

Entertaining due to the jokes, however, if you are looking for genuine ghost stories maybe an alternative tour would be better.

Yes this is more comedy than a ghost hunt but for me that was perfect. A walking tour of a few properties in York with lots of laughs....what more do you want. Not sure if any of the ghost stories were true but I didint...More

I’ve never been on a proper ghost walk, so I have nothing to compare to. But I thought this one was a blast. A nice mix of comedy and storytelling and walking around the centre of York, it was a great way to spend an...More

All of the streets are flat, and there are no curb issues. As far as distance, I really can't judge - covers much of old York center. But, I think you would have little difficulty - so yes, you can do it.
