Joined a group on a wet evening for a ghost hunt. Lasted for about an hour. Cost £6. Was a bit of fun. Can only recall one story. Was maybe hoping for a bit more, in the way of unique spots and better stories. haha....More

The Ghost Hunt went for 75 minutes. 15 minutes was setting up and paying and another 10 minutes was playing a 'prank' on a restaurant - this didn't leave much time for actual ghost touring (considering a lot of the time we were just walking...More

After reading reviews we were looking forward to hearing some interesting and spooky ghost stories around York. However, right from the start it became apparent this would not be the case. Stories were weak and out of context. Locations were anything but spooky. Cheap comedy...More

Got this through a Groupon Deal and found it really entertaining and informative. A really good way of seeing the city and finding out more about the history.

This tour was recommended to us as a must-do while in York and we're pleased we braved the freezing cold cold to take part. It was a Sunday night (and unbelievably cold) and there were around 10 people in total which was a good size....More

The walk is great fun and packed full of giggles, the young guide was very theatrical and did brilliantly when it came to articulating yorks horror history. I've been on this twice now and continue to love it.

I can’t think of a single positive thing about this tour. To summarise, intensely slow, over dramatic and annoying delivery, “audience participation” was basically him telling us to take one step forward, one step back, make a gap, move on-pointless, ghost stories delivered out of...More

All of the streets are flat, and there are no curb issues. As far as distance, I really can't judge - covers much of old York center. But, I think you would have little difficulty - so yes, you can do it.
